Brighter Future - Vanessa

Vanessa grew up riding horses at a very young age. Working with an animal that is so large and powerful, she learned how to focus her mind and body, as one moment of inattention could prove dangerous for her and for the horse. And now as a lineworker for FirstEnergy, she takes that focus into each day that she’s up amongst the trees, helping to keep the lights on.
